How do I access the VOIP-500/600 using SSH?
Answer:
Set the SSH settings on the VOIP-500/600 Call Station Web GUI application.
Ensure you are accessing the Web GUI application of the VOIP-500/600 by navigating to the IP Address set on the device
- Use the following Web Browsers to access the device
- IE 8 and 9 OR Mozilla (i.e. FireFox) 3.5 and above
To turn on SSH
- Click on "Authentication"
- Ensure the check box is CHECKED on the "Check SSH and click on Apply to enable SSH"
- Set a password of your choice
- Click on the Apply tab-button at the top
- You can now access the SSH console using your favorite SSH application. - NO REBOOT REQUIRED.
