I am using an EC-8 Consolidator in “local” mode. What should I enter as the phone number?
You must enter a phone number (see Primary & Secondary Phone Number Codes, p.6) even though your Talkaphone unit is not using this number to connect to the local phone.
We recommend entering *13*1234567* so that the person originating the call will hear the familiar sound of a 7-digit phone number.
