I can hear the guard, but the guard cannot hear me using the ETP (Analog) Call Stations

I can hear the guard, but the guard cannot hear me using the ETP (Analog) Call Stations

I can hear the guard, but the guard cannot hear me using the ETP (Analog) Call Stations

Possible Resolutions:

  1. The phone is on a PBX but is not programmed properly.
  2. The phone is on a PBX "ring-down" line that does not meet the power requirements (see Technical Requirements in the ETP device manual you are using).
  3. There is some other device on the line (e.g. auto-dialer, fax machine, etc.)
  4. The phone is programmed to play a message upon answering but there is no message recorded. The guard hears 10 seconds of silence before 2-way communication. The code for disabling this message is *70* (see Intelli-Voice Codes, for devices supporting the Intelli-Voice chips).
