IP Supervisor (AOR-IP-SUP) Installation


Cabling

Power

The AOR-IP-SUP includes a 24vdc 0.5A wall plug power adapter that will need to be connected to a 120v power supply, backup power may be required as per local codes.  

On the X600M TM , the black/white wire connects to V+   and the black wire connects to V- .

Communication

A single CAT5e, or better will be needed to provide communications for the AOR-IP-SUP .  This will connect to the ENET 1 .
The included Expansion cable is used to connect the X600M TM  with the X12S TM , via the Expansion ports.
There are eight normally open relays on the X12S TM  , that will accept 30AWG-14AWG wire, that is rated for at least 75°C.

Preparing the Enclosure

To prepare the mounting enclosure, a hole must be drilled to allow the cables to pass through, and the mounting tabs must be installed per the instructions included.
  1. Remove the mounting panel by removing the four(4) 9/16" nuts at the corners of the panel.
  2. Drill a hole large enough for an RJ-45 Ethernet connector, and the power cord to pass through.
  3. Following the instructions that were included by the manufacturer, attach the four (4) Mounting tabs.

Mounting the Enclosure

Mount the enclosure to the wall using fasteners and anchors appropriate for the construction of the wall.

Finish the installation by connection the Ethernet cable and power cable as outlined in the Cabling section above.
