Programming ETP Series Phones using the local phone on a EC-8 Consolidator

What is the BASIC programming codes for the analog (ETP) devices by using the local phone on a EC-* Consolidator? 

Resolution: 

What you will need: 
  • Analog telephone or test-set to dial in access to the ETP device
  • When using an EC-8, connect the local phone to the 'Local Phone' port and verify you hear three tones.

The BASIC of QUICK programming for analog ETP devices is as follows: 
        Connect to the ETP which you need to program on port 'x' of the EC-8 using the following code on the local phone:
        Dial:  *4x* 

The ETP will auto-answer and you will be in the programming mode. Enter the following codes to program the ETP for dialing out to a number:


Default Guard/Programming Access Code:
Dial:  *4** 

Program the mode: (*14*<1/2/3>*)
Dial: *4<MODE>*
  • 1 - Central Office (Phone Company TELCO line)
  • 2 - PBX w/Consolidator
  • 3 - PBX wOUT/Consolidator
Add Phone number to be called:
Dial: *13*<PHONE#>*
