How to Factory Default the IMS230F3 Miniture IP Camera



  1. Prepare a short jumper wire by stipping both ends of a wire, that is long enough to be managable.
  2. Disconnect DC Power or PoE form the camera.
  3. Remove the two screws from the back of the camera, and remove the cover.
  4. Reconnect  DC Power/or PoE to the camera and wait about 30 seconds for the camera to boot.
  5. Using the jumper wire, short the test point labeled DFT, and the coper rim of the mounting hole, for about 10 seconds.
The camera should default and come back up with the following configuration:
      IP Address: 192.168.1.30
      Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
      Username: admin
      Password: admin
